Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller is light, durable and offers great maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it simple to carry. It can also stand on its own when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. Newborn suitability: Yes and with a separate carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).
Air-filled tyres and good suspension will handle rough terrain well. You can also use it for jogging. However, you should wait until your baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This lightweight pushchair from Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will love. The travel system comes with a lie flat carrycot for newborns and a dual-position forward and rear facing seat for the pushchair.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's earned praise from customers. It is extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. It's also very easy to assemble. I was able to get it up and running in less than five minutes - which is amazing considering that it included the ability to attach fabric to the carrycot.
It has a lovely wide, comfortable seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is easy to operate. There's plenty of space inside the basket and I am awestruck by the fact that it has a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so you can keep your phone and keys secure!
The only issue is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated with a luxurious leather-like material that's soft and comfy and wipes down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with bags and children in your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is a great choice for parents who love to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on field and forest trails. The front wheel can be locked and swivels to increase the flexibility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving when you rest. The seat can be repositioned to lay down and the canopy can be opened maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mum or dad.
The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a short walk, a longer hike or a long-distance trek. It comes with a lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels for smooth and comfortable riding. The front wheel can be locked for more stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit into car boot spaces and storage spaces.
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a little more difficult to navigate than its predecessor, and the locking mechanism is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebar is a little higher than other strollers which means it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms but overall, it's a sturdy and versatile stroller that's worthy of consideration for families with active kids.
Red Kite Push Me walking
Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the cost-effective British brand. They are known for their well-designed, no-fuss products that are essential to parents. It's the latest and most expensive version of their bargain light stroller range and, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible which means you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some fantastic design features such as a rose-gold shade on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims that truly make it stand out. 3 wheeler pushchair , tan and cream fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add a co-ordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.
The stroller seat can be used from birth until a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has multi lying positions, a comfortable padded leg rests and an extendable sun canopy featuring hidden zip sections, a see through flap and an retractable sun visor.
What's more, when it's folded it's Pace measures 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. It's also a breeze to fold, thanks to two buttons on either side of the handlebar that you can click into and out. Then, it will pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis has shorter wheel length that makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tested it with my two children - one a toddler and another eight-week-old - on the rocky roads along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are huge - 22cm and 30cm - so they can cope with many different terrains. The wheels have a flap that can be opened or closed to let air in when needed. It's a bit larger than some pushchairs, but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric can be washed by machine, and the faux leather frame and grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt safe using it on busy city streets. It comes with accessory points so you can attach parasols and footmuffs as well as changing bags or snack trays, and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block out wind and rain, although it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more legroom. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it into the seat.

The reversible handlebar is great feature that lets you adjust it to your height. And unlike some jogging strollers the Ridge folds reliable and stays self-standing while folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will impress parents. It comes with a multi-mode wheelbase and LED Visibility Hub light that's a first in the industry. It has an integrated Ride-on Board that saves on future costs, and allows tired toddlers to accompany the family when they go on excursions.

The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, so you can use it for your baby's first year and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, it's luxuriously designed and is made of premium knitted jersey fabric. The child's adjustable bumper bar as well as the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support folds away are also extremely comfortable for children.
I was amazed by how easy it is to fold and collapse it only takes one hand, even with the seat unit attached. It fits easily in your car or hallway which makes it perfect to travel with. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, such as an rucksack that matches the colour of your choice and a liner/footmuff.
